Helen, Shannon and Marlene
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit my family in LA when I had a 9 hour layover on my way to Australia. I haven't been to California since I was 2 yrs old, so this was a real treat. Marlene picked me up at the airport and we met Helen, Aunt Mary, Uncle Ed, Lilian, Gorman, and their daughter Shannon for dinner at a very large Chinese restaurant. I also had the treat of seeing Lilian and Gorman's beautiful new home! They had just moved in!
It was wonderful to visit with family and I really appreciated everyone coming out to see me! Next time I'll come and stay longer! I promise!
